1: Baby–Cham is an agency providing a facility for its clients to book the services of babysitters registered on its database. The agency acts as an introduction and booking agency only. It does not employ babysitters.
2: The agency checks the references and identity of all babysitters and such information will be made available to the client if required. The client agrees that they have the sole responsibility in deciding to retain the babysitter.
3: The agency provides insurance cover for all its babysitters while working on assignments booked through the agency. The agency accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage arising from the engagement of the babysitter by the client.
4: The client agrees to provide the babysitter and the agency with details of any health and safety or other risks known to the client, be it with the residing property or the child/children.
5: If there is a cancellation by the client we will do our very best to rebook the babysitters to another assignment. If we are not able to do this the following cancellation fees will apply:
- The 20% deposit is non-refundable
- Within 7 days, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fee is payable.
- Within 48 hours, a cancelation fee of 100% of the total fee is payable.
- If less than 65% of the hours (per babysitter) is carried out from those estimated at the time of booking will result in a loss of deposit. Any fees willthen be charged at the appropriate hourly rate.
6: In the unlikely event of Baby-Cham being unable to provide a sitter for any agreed sitting, Baby-Cham's liability will be limited to the return of any deposit already paid.
7: The client undertakes to respect the babysitters right to privacy and agrees not to ask any babysitter for their telephone number or any other contact details other than through the agency. Private bookings are not permitted, nor are they covered by our insurance. In the event of any breach of this condition the client will pay the agency a fee of 100 euros as an introduction fee for each and every breach.
8: Hourly fees are charged to the nearest half hour.
9: Booking a babysitter through Baby-Cham confirms the clients acceptance of these terms and conditions.
