Providing Babysitters and Childcare Rental equipment since 2006!
Here's some helpful information on how the booking process works:
Step 1: You contact us with your babysitting enquiry.
Step 2: We send you our editable PDF 'Booking Request form' for you to fill in dates, times and information about your child/children.
Step 3: We confirm availability and send you over the profile of our most suitable babysitter for your booking. We keep this babysitter on hold for 3 days. We quote you the full booking price and specify the reservation fee amount.
Step 4: We take payment of the Reservation Fee via PayPal's email invoicing service. You will receive an email from PayPal generated by us. From there you simply click the 'Pay Invoice' button at the bottom of the message. You can then pay your Reservation Fee either with your own PayPal account, or as a PayPal ‘guest’ using a your credit/debit card and pay the invoice directly without having to have a PayPal account. This method means your payment is handled by a secure well known server and we hold no credit or debit card details.
Step 5: Once paid, we email you with confirmation of the reservation fee payment and confirm the booking, the booking is not confirmed until the reservation fee is paid.
Step 6: Your babysitter arrives where you are staying at the booked time with a bag of toys/books/games/art supplies and a sledge (if appropriate) to look after your child/children.
Step 7: You pay the babysitter their hourly rate directly in cash at the end of each day's booking.
Babysitting rates start from €19.50 per hour. A reservation fee is taken at the time of booking to secure and confirm the Nanny. The reservation fee is non refundable once paid. The booking is only confirmed once the reservation fee is paid. This then leaves the parents to pay the babysitter cash in person at the end of their time worked. Some dates such as Christmas, Boxing day, New Years Eve and New Years Day carry a surcharge which you will be informed of when we send you your quote.
Baby-Cham can also provide babysitter's for weddings and other functions including children's parties in the Chamonix Valley. This leaves you and the other adults to enjoy the party happily knowing that your children are safe and entertained. Please note that for insurance reasons we have a babysitter to child ratio. We need to know how many children and their ages to provide a quote for events.
Our 'babysitter to child ratio' is as follows:
Children 2 years and under = 1 babysitter for upto 2 children
Children 2 years+ = 1 babysitter for upto 2 children
Children 2 years + = 1 babysitter for 3 children
Special needs children may need a specialised ratio, please contact us for details.
We have a minimum booking time of 3 hours per booking i.e 9:00am - 12:00
Step 1: You contact us with your rental enquiry.
Step 2: We confirm availability and send you an email asking for full details, we will supply you with the price, dates and details.
Step 3: Once you have confirmed all details are correct, the booking is secured.
Step 4: We then deliver the rental equipment and the rental agreement form to your property/hotel/chalet on the agreed date and time, or you collect from us.
Delivery is free for bookings of €50+ or €10 for bookings below €50. Equipment bookings are made by cash payment.
You then supply your credit/debit card details as a deposit (see equipment rentals or toy rentals pages above for more info on deposits and delivery t&c's). When taking card details we will ask for only the necessary card details and your post code. All payment details (including security codes, track data or sensitive information) will be securely stored during the transaction process and will be destroyed by Baby-Cham immediately after the transaction is completed.
Step 5: We pick up the rental equipment from your property/hotel/chalet/location between Les Houches and Les Tines at the agreed time at the end of your rental booking. Damages are to be paid for in cash upon inspection.
